I was born in California to Lebanese immigrants, who moved back to post-war Beirut soon after, and raised me there with occasional visits to the U.S. My works tend to feature oppositional forces in some way or another, be it structure against chaos, minimalism against opulence, or hairy masculinity rubbing elbows with the sugary and feminine.
